The Directions below assume you have gotten yourself to the fairly major intersection of State St. and Winthrop St. in Augusta. (The four corners of this intersection hold The Court House, Gardiner Savings Bank, Lithgow Library and the Old Y.)
Heading west on Winthrop St. toward the airport from the intersection of State and Winthrop, Lithgow Library is on your right. Then you pass Pleasant St. Then a Grey building is on your right = St. Mark's home for Women: Then 61 Winthrop st. is next -- It is a yellow clapboard 1818 Federal House.
There's a parking lot to the left of the front door as you look at it. Take a right into this parking lot. My entrance is on the side of the building facing this parking lot about 2/3 back exhibiting a handicap ramp.
If you miss the turn into the parking lot, you'll get to Summer St. turn right on Summer and you can enter the parking lot by turning right from there. A Brown wooden Unitarian Church is across the Street at the corner of Summer and Winthrop Sts.
